Pacific Power celebrates National Drive Electric Week

PORTLAND, Ore. — In celebration of National Drive Electric Week, Pacific Power hosted an EV Car show at the Lloyd Center Tower in Portland today. The event helped promote transportation electrification and EV adoption in Oregon. Pacific Power partners and employees showcased some of the latest electric vehicles and electric bikes.

New round of Electric Mobility Grants connects more

PORTLAND, Ore. — Pacific Power recently awarded more than $2 million to 18 cities, small towns, community colleges and nonprofits throughout the state for projects that will connect more Oregonians to the cost-saving, clean-air benefits of electric vehicles and electric mobility — including residents of underserved and rural communities that Pacific Power serves.

Applications open to fund Oregon electric mobility projects

"This grant program is just one of the ways Pacific Power is helping prepare communities for more electric vehicles on the road." Starting in 2020, Pacific Power has awarded more than 20 unique E-Mobility Grants to nonprofits, local governments, hospitals and other non-residential customers served by Pacific Power in Oregon.

Find Charging Stations

To help electric vehicle drivers get around easier, Pacific Power is installing fast charging stations in several communities in Oregon and Washington. These public charging stations can charge up to six electric vehicles of all makes and models. The station has four fast chargers and a level 2 dual-port charger.

Pacific Power is pleased to make electric transportation grant funding available to Pacific Power non- residential customers in Oregon. Funding awards will cover up to 100 percent of the eligible costs associated with studying, planning, promoting, or deploying electric transportation technology and projects.
