The Netherlands solar boiler gtnh

FINALLY, my steam smelter works :D, any tips to optimized it

Every bit of silver you get should go towards solar boilers, before Twilight Forest you''ll only get tiny amounts from small ores Potin pipes are the only viable option for using steam up to early MV, once you get to Twilight Forest you should look

r/GTNH on Reddit: questions about LP boiler tank and other stuff

Go to GTNH r/GTNH. r/GTNH. This is a subreddit for discussing the Minecraft modpack, Gregtech: New Horizons. My brother and I in our most recent playthrough just used solar boilers until we could get to the end of lv then swapped to oil processed to diesel as soon as we had a mv mixer (which was one of the earliest mv machines I made for

The Ultimate Gregtech: New Horizons Tips and

The GTNH wiki can be a little hit or miss, but the IC2 Crops List page is great. Crops crossbreed by similar tiers, so if you''re crossbreeding tier 1 crops you can expect decent odds of getting a tier 0 or tier 2 crop. The solar boilers take

Solar Panel

Solar panels become dirty over time, very slowly reducing in power output. The panels can be cleaned by left-clicking on the cover with an empty hand and a Water Bucket in inventory, or right-clicking with the Water Bucket. The water in the bucket will be consumed, and a message will be displayed saying the panel has been cleaned of (X)% dirt.

[GT New Horizons] power options? : r/feedthebeast

charcoal pit can make up to 1k+ charcoal in 10minutes, solar boilers for steam are pretty good. You will need more steam to power your steamturbine for LV power. I''d suggest making 1 high pressure boiler and 3-4 solar boilers. If you have discord the GTNH channel can answer all of your questions :)

[GT:NH] MV/HV power ratios/setups : r/feedthebeast

I lasted most of LV/MV with a solar boiler set-up feeding 4 LV steam turbines. Once I hit HV I upgraded to a Steve''s Carts tree farm -> Advanced Coke Oven -> GT large steel boiler -> HV

The GTNH wiki can be a little hit or miss, but the IC2 Crops List page is great. Crops crossbreed by similar tiers, so if you''re crossbreeding tier 1 crops you can expect decent odds of getting a tier 0 or tier 2 crop. The solar boilers take much longer than 3 hours to start calcifying, Somewhere in the range of 8+ hours in more likely.

Calcified solar boilers still consume water at the same rate #7608

This may have been intentional, but I don''t think calcification was considered when the production cycle duration was halved. Since calcification occurs every 100 cycles, it''s now happening much faster than it used to, and I think possibly by even more than double.

[GT:NH] MV/HV power ratios/setups : r/feedthebeast

I lasted most of LV/MV with a solar boiler set-up feeding 4 LV steam turbines. Once I hit HV I upgraded to a Steve''s Carts tree farm -> Advanced Coke Oven -> GT large steel boiler -> HV steam turbine. The boiler almost produces enough steam for the turbine to run full power but the tree farm can''t keep up, I end up having to run the turbine

[GTNH 2.3.0] EBF question. : r/feedthebeast

High pressure solar boilers make 360L of steam per second. So if you want the EBF to run at 100% uptime means you need 18 high pressure solar boilers. That said you can use a mix of power sources and you don''t exactly need to run it with 100% uptime right out of the gate, and getting to MV allows you to have access to better machines and thus

High Pressure Coal Boiler (GregTech 5)

This page is about the High Pressure Coal Boiler added by GregTech 5. For other uses, see High Pressure Coal Boiler. The High Pressure Coal Boiler is a steam generator added by GregTech 5. It is powered by solid fuels. The boiler accepts the following items as fuel: The boiler has a minimum temperature of 20 and a maximum temperature of 1000. Every 40 ticks the

[GTNH] I integrated a tree farm. : r/feedthebeast

The LP network also runs on steam, and the water supply for the solar boilers is separate from LP so a blackout doesnt fry the boilers. The spruce logs go into the benzene plant via LP aswell, so now I have small tanks of water and steam and occasional little log trains zipping around my base and that makes me happy.

Starting Steam

There is a little work involved in getting this setup but like most stuff in GTNH that is normal. This is not the ONLY way to do a steam setup but if you''re just starting out and you''re always having the machines run out of steam because you have a GT boiler hooked up directly to the machine this is a good way to progress from there.

High pressure boiler help : r/GTNH

Im in steam era and have the materials for and 2 by 2 by 2 high pressure boiler from railcraft with 8 high pressure boiler parts and wondering how many water tanks from railcraft for it to always be supplied with water in an 100% humidity biome, and the constant number of charcoal it would use an hour at top temperature where it just has to maintain temp.

Your average ore vein in GT:NH : r/feedthebeast

What makes GTNH fun is every player plays it differently in unique way. They''re in the twilight forest, so this may have been a silver vein that they mined out to run a bunch of solar boilers. Time efficient it is not, but iirc solar-only is a challenge category that some people run and honestly, there''s something so calming about knowing

GT Vs. Railcraft Steam Boilers : r/feedthebeast

I used spammed solar boilers (ended up with 40) to get me through most of Steam, LV, and MV (albeit slowly!). Did a steam GT boiler to help out once I hit HV, powered via a blaze spawner I carried back from the nether with a diamond dolly, killing them with a exutils unstable ingot broadsword (doesn''t have to be built in one go to get the unbreakable stat, you can change

[Interactions] Tricking a solar boiler : r/feedthebeast

Given the Interactions team were trying specifically to block completely passive power plants entirely behind the very end-game (compare Solar Panel recipes!), they may well only have left the Solar Boiler alone just because it sucked so very much.

Railcraft Boiler

The Railcraft Boiler (Steam Boiler / RC Boiler) is a Steam producing multiblock consisting of two parts; a tank and a firebox. Both components are variable in size, from a single block up to a 3x3 footprint. The two firebox types (Solid Fueled Boiler Firebox and Liquid Fueled Boiler Firebox) function essentially the same, just taking different kinds of fuels.

Steam Age

During the heating process one charcoal lasts 96 seconds. Upgrades to the High Pressure Coal Boiler, which burns fuel twice as fast but produces 15L/t of steam while heated, and 30 pollution/s. Solar Boilers. Solar boliers use no fuel; instead they must have a clear view of the sky to heat up, producing up to 6L/t.

Power Generation

The High Pressure Coal Boiler produces 300 L/s of steam, a much better number, but still only equivalent to 7.5 EU/t. Like the Small Coal Boilers, these run off coal or charcoal. The Simple Solar Boiler produces the same amount of steam as a Small Coal Boiler, but runs off sunlight.
